Songs of Sabbath Sacrifice

"The work consists of songs for thirteen Sabbaths, probably recited as a liturgy to accompany the burnt offering. In the original Hebrew, the syllables and long drawn-out phrases fall over one another in an almost hypnotic cadence. We encounter a constant rotation of synonyms that follow one another to numbing effect. Verbs are hard to find. The effect is highly abstract, and the images  are blurred around the edges. Precisely what the author means to say is seldom clear. That is only appropriate, of course. The mysteries of heaven cannot be put into words; approximation is the best a seer can offer.

The Sabbath songs intend to unite the worshiper with the angels worshipping in Heaven. What happens on Earth is but a pale reflection of the greater, ultimate, reality. What, then, could be more desirable than to join that worship in mystic fashion?"

Successful Soul Saving

"Briefly, what we are doing in this project is to bring the old, old Biblical concepts of meditation, spaced repetition, and practical execution to bear on the modern generation in the field of PERSONAL EVANGELISM.

By the miracle of electronic recordings we can compress into a few systematically planned hours of "meditation" the same results and mental and spiritual conditioning that our fore-fathers achieved by "day and night meditation" (Psalm 1.) And by "spaced repetition" these mental sets, emotions, and patterns become the very warp and woof of one's emotional, intellectual, and spiritual life.

 You have to SEE it and USE it before you can even begin to realize the immense power of "Successful Soul Saving." This is NOT a course of study for a church or a class. It is not even a "course of study" for an individual. But the whole plan of the program is for individual use; and it can be utilized in the privacy of one's own home, and on a schedule to suit one's own convenience and needs.
